Project Handoff

Project handoffs between product managers can happen for a number of foreseen and unforeseen reasons. In any case, PMs should be prepared and organized enough to be able to hand off their project with minimal effort. Furthermore, clients should not feel any impact and continue to feel confident in the development of the product and their familiarity with the company. In this story, you’ll learn about the techniques and artifacts I’ve used to successfully hand off projects.

Quarter Plan

As I began my independent learning on agile, one thing jumped out as feeling a little out of character. I began to get curious around the coexistence of how PMs should be able to plan 18-24 months of work while working in the world of weekly sprints and small feedback loops. About a month in, I had an “a-ha!” moment that helped connect the dots between what I read to what we practice as a company.
